Report: Spotify starts selling advertisements in Russia

MOSCOW, Jul 27 (PRIME) -- Swedish digital music service Spotify has started selling advertisements in Russia, where it came on July 15, and has signed first contracts with online cinema ivi and confectionery maker Ferrero Russia (brand Tic Tac), business daily Vedomosti reported on Monday on its website.

Advertisements can be placed via mobile devices, computers, smart speakers, and the like.

The service’s local team together with cross-channel advertising network Httpool will sell advertisements in Russia and the CIS.

The following formats will be available: audio advertisements, played between soundtracks; video advertisements, which are animated banners; and interactive banners in the mobile application and on desktop.
